  • Welcome to Guwahati – the gateway to North East India.
  • After arrival, drive to Cherrapunji (about 4 hours).
  • Enjoy the scenic road with green hills, tea gardens, and waterfalls.
  • Stop at Umiam Lake on the way.
  • Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Arwah Cave before reaching Cherrapunji.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax.

  • After breakfast, drive to Tyrna Village.
  • From here, start the trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat.
  • Walk through forests and small bridges to reach this unique natural wonder.
  • Spend some time enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
  • If you wish, continue the trek to Rainbow Falls (extra cost).
  • Later, trek back to Tyrna and drive back to Cherrapunji for overnight stay.

  • Check out from the hotel and drive towards Shillong.
  • On the way, visit some of Meghalaya’s most beautiful spots:
  • Kynrem Falls – one of the highest waterfalls in India.
  • Wei Sawdong Falls – a stunning three-tiered waterfall.
  • Garden of Caves – natural caves surrounded by greenery.
  • Prut Falls and Lyngksiar Falls – enjoy the views from the viewpoints.
  • Mawsawa Falls – another refreshing waterfall.
  • After sightseeing, continue the drive to Shillong.
  • Check in at the hotel and rest for the night.

  • Enjoy sunrise views from Nongjrong View Point, overlooking valleys, forests, and far-off hills.

  • Return to Shillong and explore local attractions:
  • Ward’s Lake – a pretty lake with gardens.
  • Police Bazaar – a lively market for shopping and food.
  • Back to the hotel for overnight stay.
