  • Arrive in Guwahati and head straight to the famous Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Admire its unique Nilachal-style architecture and learn about its annual Ambubachi Mela. Later, check in at the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, visit Nehru Park, known for its statues of traditional Assamese dances. You can also take a short boat ride (extra cost) to Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Vist plunge waterfallAfter breakfast, check out and drive towards Shillong with a stop at Cherrapunji. On the way, explore Arwah Caves with their ancient fossils and Mawsmai Caves with unique rock formations. Witness the stunning Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall, and the beautiful Seven Sisters Falls. Don’t miss the world-famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat, a natural wonder created from tree roots. Later, continue to Shillong and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

  • Start the day with a visit to Laitlum Canyon, offering breathtaking views of valleys and the Khasi Hills. Trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village, an amazing natural bridge made from tree roots, some over 100 years old. Also visit the Balancing Rock, a huge boulder resting on a small rock. Later, continue your drive to Dawki and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Dawki.

  • After breakfast, go for a trip to the Mawphlang Sacred Forest, also called Nature’s Museum. It is famous for its rich biodiversity, with rare plants, herbs, orchids, and Khasi pines.   • In the morning, drive to Lad Mawphlang to start the famous David Scott Trail Trek, named after a British officer from the 1800s. This 16 km trek takes you through forests, green hills, streams, and ancient stone structures. On the way, you’ll also see traditional Khasi villages and experience their culture. After the trek, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
