  • Begin your trip in Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. Relax at your hotel after arrival. Then visit the Mizoram State Museum to see Mizo history, arts, and life.  In evening, go up Durtlang Hills for wide views of the city.

  • Drive from Aizawl to Reiek (about 29 km away). 
  •  Reiek is green and calm, with hills and quiet air. There is a heritage village there which shows traditional Mizo homes and culture. 
  •  You can trek a bit up to the peak for beautiful views.

  • Fly to Imphal, capital of Manipur. In Imphal, visit Kangla Fort, Govindajee Temple (a golden twin-domed temple important to local people) 
  •  and explore the women’s market, Ima Keithel.

  • Go to Loktak Lake, famous for floating islands called Phumdis. Also visit Keibul Lamjao National Park, home to the rare Sangai deer.

  • Visit Andro village, known for its old culture, pottery work, and folk stories. Return to Imphal in the evening.

  • Take a day trip to Moreh (border town). You can shop for different things, see more of the culture mix there. Return to Imphal in evening.

  • Drive to Kohima (capital of Nagaland). Visit the Kohima War Cemetery to learn about WWII history. Explore local markets too.

  • See tribal life in Nagaland. Visit Khonoma, an eco-village well known for its clean environment and traditional ways. Learn about Naga customs, meet villagers.

  • Your tour comes to an end. Drive back to Imphal or go to Dimapur, depending on your flight. Take some final photos, shop a little, then depart.
