  • Welcome when you arrive at Dimapur Airport, then we drive you to Kohima (about 2 hours).
  • Check in at your hotel in Kohima.
  • Evening is free for your own time — walk around, relax, explore the town.
  • Overnight stay in Kohima.

  • After breakfast, we start exploring Kohima.
  • Visit the zoo — see Nagaland’s state bird, Blyth’s Tragopan, and the state animal, the wild buffalo. 
  • In the afternoon, go to Kohima Museum, War Cemetery, and Kohima Cathedral Church.
  • Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kohima.

  • After breakfast, travel to Tuophema (a tourist village run by the Nagaland Tourism Dept.).

  • Stay in a traditional Naga-style hut in the village. You will feel what village life is like here.
  • Walk around the village and enjoy lovely views of the hills and valleys.
  • Try the community kitchen: local food + rice brewed beer.
  • Overnight in Tuophema Village.
