  • Welcome to Guwahati! After arrival at the airport/railway station, start your drive to Cherrapunji. The journey is very scenic with hills and greenery.
  • On the way, stop at Umiam Lake, famous for its calm beauty and clear water.
  • Visit the two-tiered Elephant Falls and then head to Arwah Caves, where you can see fossils on the cave walls.
  • Next, enjoy the view of the grand Seven Sisters Falls and the mighty Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall (1,115 ft).
  • Later, check in at your hotel in Cherrapunji and rest overnight.

  • After breakfast, drive to Tyrna Village, the starting point of the trek.
  • Begin your trek of about 3,000 steps through forest trails to reach the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat.
  • This unique bridge was built naturally over generations by the Khasi tribe using the roots of banyan trees.
  • Spend time enjoying this wonder. If you like, continue the trek to Rainbow Falls (extra cost).
  • After the trek, return to Tyrna and drive back to your hotel for overnight stay.

  • After check-out, start your journey towards Shillong.
  • On the way, visit the crystal-clear Umngot River in Dawki. You can also take a boat ride here.
  • At Shnongpdeng, you can try water activities (extra cost).
  • Next, stop at Krang Suri Falls, known for its blue pool and beautiful surroundings.
  • Later, head to Laitlum Canyon for amazing views of deep valleys and green Khasi Hills.
  • Continue to Shillong, check in at the hotel, and stay overnight.

  • After check-out, drive to Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the most important temples in India. It is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and is located on Nilachal Hill.The temple is very old (about 8th century) and is one of the Shakti Peethas, attracting thousands of visitors every day.After the temple visit, youwill be dropped at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.Your trip ends here with wonderful memories.
