Welcome to The Golden City, located in the heart of the Thar Desert. Jaisalmer gets its golden glow from its yellow sandstone buildings that shine under the sunlight. The city was founded in 1156 AD by Rajput King Jaisal Singh. One of the main highlights is Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few living forts in India, where people still reside inside its walls. Known as the Queen of Thar, Jaisalmer offers a perfect mix of history, culture, and adventure.

Start your day with a visit to Jaisalmer Fort and explore its historic charm. Later, head to the sand dunes for adventure activities like desert safari, parasailing, quad biking, and camel rides. You can also enjoy a unique desert camping experience—either simple or luxurious—where you can gaze at a sky full of stars at night.

If time allows, visit the Indo-Pak border and Gadsisar Lake. For those who enjoy mystery, explore the abandoned Kuldhara Village. Don’t miss the beautiful havelis in the city, which are stunning examples of local architecture.

Travel from the heart of the Thar Desert to Jodhpur, a city founded by Rao Jodha in 1459. Jodhpur is called the Sun City because it’s one of the first places to see the sunrise, and Blue City for its many blue-painted houses. The city is full of forts, palaces, and unique charm.

Visit the grand Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s largest forts, built with red sandstone. It rises 410 feet above the city and still has cannonball marks and handprints of women who committed sati centuries ago. The fort’s museum showcases royal artifacts.
If you’re feeling adventurous, try zip-lining with Flying Fox Jodhpur. Explore the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, once wasteland and now a beautiful natural park. Don’t miss the Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his father—it glows beautifully under sunlight. End your day shopping at the Clock Tower market.

Travel to Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes and Venice of the East. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1553, Udaipur is famous for its palaces, lakes, and lively atmosphere.

Explore the City Palace, located right on the banks of Lake Pichola. This palace complex has beautiful balconies, towers, and a museum with royal belongings. Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola to see the famous Lake Palace, now a luxury hotel and filming location for many movies.
Learn about Mewar culture at Bagore Ki Haveli and its museum. If you love cars, visit the Garden Hotel to see vintage vehicles once used by the kings. Shop for local crafts at Shilpgram and end your day watching the sunset from Monsoon Palace.

On the 7th day, your trip comes to an end. Our agent will drop you at the airport or railway station. With bundles of memories, you head back home.
